In Connecticut, CNN calls it for Lieberman

Republican voters help Lieberman defeat Democratic candidate Ned Lamont.

CNN is projecting that independent Joe Lieberman has defeated Democrat Ned Lamont in Connecticut. The key to Lieberman's victory? Exit polls say it's the crossover votes from Republicans, who largely ignored GOP candidate Alan Schlesinger.
