Seeking the right geek

Since there may be more than a few people checking in on this blog who first started following my writing back when I was a technology reporter covering the free software movement and assorted techno-cultural amusements, I'm hoping it won't seem too out of order to note here that Salon is looking for just the right geek to fill our current technology reporting slot.

The job would include taking over Salon's Machinist blog and producing the occasional column and reported feature. For more info, start here.
