Biography (8 p.m., A&E) continues "TV Dads Week" with a profile of Bill Bixby. After multiple showings of the pilot movie, the series Witchblade (9 p.m., TNT) finally gets underway. Yancy Butler plays a cop endowed with superstrength when she dons an ancient piece of armor. NBC pushes Ed (9 p.m., NBC) with episodes every night this week. Two reruns air back-to-back tonight.

Specials

The two-and-a-half-hour documentary Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures (7:30 p.m., Cinemax) surveys the director's modest but legendary output, and features interviews with friends and admirers, as well as rare footage of Kubrick at work. Tom Cruise narrates. Immediately followed by airings of "Eyes Wide Shut" and "A Clockwork Orange." Harrison Ford hosts AFI's 100 Years ... 100 Thrills (8 p.m., CBS), a three-hour countdown of the most thrilling movies of all time, as chosen by an American Film Institute-commissioned panel. No matter how this thing shapes up, somebody's going to disagree.
