Tonight's "Talking Bad" was a victory lap for the show's cast and crew, and an opportunity for creator Vince Gilligan to talk about his hopes for his own future. "You want your work to be remembered," he said. "You want it to outlive you."
Gilligan went on to name-check his favorite show, "The Twilight Zone." "There's kids who haven't been born yet who will know the phrase 'Twilight Zone'," he said. "You want to have that kind of immortality through your work."
If Gilligan's creation retains even a fraction of its current hold on the culture, his immortality is pretty much assured.
